CTS created a method specifically for telescopic cranes. The technology measures the lifted load and compares it to the crane’s functioning capacity. The operating capacity is determined by a number of factors, including crane boom length, boom angle, radius, wind speed, outrigger position, slew angle, counterweight, and others. These metrics are shown on the system’s HMI, and an audible and visual alarm is issued to the crane operator.
